Spokane Company Fined For Bridge Collapse

A Spokane company is being fined by OSHA for the collapse of a bridge under construction last summer in southwestern Idaho.

The company is contesting the fines though, saying it's not their fault. Here's the Spokesman-Review Story.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
