Paris Launches For Bike-Share Program for Kids

In the U.S., bike-share programs are popping up all over, which is a good thing. But what do you do if you have children you need to transport or would like to take with you? Then bike-share programs, and often transit systems or other alternative-transportation methods, usually won't work for you.

The French are getting creative though, in finding a way around the problem. In Paris, they've launched what is believed to be the first bike-share program for children. The program offers several size bikes to fit kids of all ages, and even has bikes with training wheels. They also come with helmets, unlike with adult bike-share programs.

StreetsBlogUSA has more on this fledgling program.
