Have you seen this yet? It's video of a drunk woman in Boston who fell onto the tracks in a subway station. Scary stuff. Jeez, all this time we've been hearing how dangerous it is to drive drunk, but no one's said anything about riding the subway drunk.
I've heard that 10% alcohol related injuries involving vehicles and pedestrians are actually a result of the walker being drunk, not the driver. That's why I was told in my alcohol server training that whether a customer is driving or not is irrelevant when refusing further alcohol service. Interesting...
ReplyDelete10%?? Really?? That seems like a lot but then you see a lot of drunk people staggering around the downtown area on a good Friday or Saturday night so could be. I'll do further research.
