Free Downtown Spokane Bike Tours
Here's something really cool you may want to take advantage of; the City of Spokane will host a series of short bike tours and lunches to get people acquainted with their newly completed downtown bike loop.

I'm sure you'll understand why it made me laugh when I saw their definition of "appropriate footwear." No high heels, no open toes? Ahahahahahaha.

I'll wear the shoes I wear to ride every day. Oh, the joys of being a grown-up and the sadness of the liability fears that must have led to the shoe instructions and the waiver requirement.
Ha ha, that's @Barb for you- flaunting the conventions of the 'appropriate footwear' world. This woman rides in heels and skirts. Love it @Barb, keep it up :)
