How to fund the rest of the North Spokane Corridor is up in the air. Nearly $600 million has been allocated to the new freeway so far, but an additional $1.3 billion is needed to complete it, and the economic outlook isn't so rosy considering the economy at this time.

Well at least they are going ahead with the Francis Bridge, hope the city changed their requirement for the bike lane on the bridge. I would not want to be sandwiched on a bike between a semi and a 42 inch concrete wall like the city was proposing for the bike lane.
