Anthony Foxx Sworn In As U.S. Secretary of Transportation

Charlotte, N.C. Mayor Anthony Foxx has just been confirmed by the Senate as the 17th U.S. Secretary of Transportation. Not a single senator voted against.

Foxx has shown support for light rail, streetcars, bike and pedestrican infrastructure and transit-oriented development. And he has the blessing of former Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.
