Person Struck and Killed On I90 Onramp This Morning

One person was killed about 8 a.m. today after a two-car crash on the Sprague Avenue on-ramp to Interstate 90 westbound.

The driver of one vehicle tried to walk across Third Avenue after the crash and was hit and killed by a separate vehicle, the Washington State Patrol reported.

WSP troopers are investigating the original non-injury collision. Spokane County is investigating the fatal accident with assistance from the state, according to a WSP news release.

The westbound on-ramp at Sprague Avenue is fully blocked.
