How Much Are You Really Paying To Drive?

Ouch! How much are you REALLY paying to drive? Each year since 1950, AAA has tallied the cost to drive, considering factors such as gas prices, maintenance, tires, license, registration, insurance, etc. In 1950, driving a car 10,000 miles cost 9 cents a mile, and gasoline sold for 27 cents per gallon.

That number has gone up substantially since then, of course. AAA has just published their annual brochure on the true cost of driving for 2014. You can check it out here and see how much your car is actually setting you back.
