Well this is kind of frightening. Remember the airport "backscatter" x-ray machines that were so
controversial because they showed your every curve, sag and crevice? Well, apparently they weren't so good at showing contraband. Researchers at three colleges pooled their money and bought a brand new machine (off E-Bay no less), then took turns trying to smuggle guns, knives and fake explosives through it. Here's what happened.
