Most Fuel Efficient Vehicles of 2013
Looking to buy a new car? I wish! But if you are, fuel efficiency is one of the main things prospective buyers look at these days. With federally mandated fuel-economy standards rising to 35.5 mpg by 2016, automakers are developing more efficient vehicles. For the 2013 model year, buyers have a choice of 18 cars that get an Environmental Protection Agency rating of 35 mpg combined, compared with only
four such vehicles in 2008. And that's not even including hybrid or electric cars. So what are the most fuel efficient vehicles this year?
