Slow Down In Those School Zones

With kids back in school yesteray, Spokane Police were busy patrolling school zones for speeders and giving out tickets that average $170 (ouch!). And they're going to be doing it for a while so slow down.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
