Pay For Transportation By Cutting Saturday Mail Delivery?

Cancel Saturday mail delivery to pay for transportation?? That was part of a suggestion by House Republican leaders late last week to extend MAP-21, the federal transportation spending act, and fund the quickly-dwindling Highway Trust Fund.
Don't kiss your Saturday delivery of People magazine goodbye yet though, as Democrats are already disparaging the plan, calling it a "job killer."
