Video Explains Proposed Street Tax Plan

A lot of people have asked me questions about the City of Spokane's proposed street and parks levy that would refinance existing bonds to fix streets and renovate Riverfront Park. And the big selling point? It reportedly won't cost any more than what taxpayers are already paying.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
