Spokane Transit To Hold Open House In Spokane Valley


Mark your calendars for next week Spokane Valley residents! Spokane Transit is hosting a community open house to get your feedback on STA Moving Forward, Spokane Transit’s draft long range plan to sustain existing service and provide more and better transit in the next 10 years.

The open house is Thursday, October 9 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Centerplace Regional Event Center, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley, WA 99216. You can find more info on the open house, and the Moving Forward plan, at http://stamovingforward.com/.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs. It provides coordination in planning between the public, cities, small towns, the county, the state, transit providers, and tribes.
