Gas Prices At Six Year High

Heading out of town for the holiday weekend? That's gonna cost you. AAA says U.S. gas prices are the highest they've been since 2008. $3.70 is expected to be the national average per gallon by July 4, but many places around here are already at $3.69 or above and I've seen as high as $3.80.

 According to this article by The Hill, the price hike is due to uncertainties in Iraq.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
