Bike To Work Week Begins!

Happy Bike to Work Week! It all started with a breakfast in Riverfront Park this morning and today is the legislative ride through the Perry District with State Transportation Secretary Lynn Peterson and Spokane Mayor David Condon. The ride is one of a handful of Commute of the Century rides intended to invite feedback from cyclists about their experience as a rider in Spokane.

Spokane City Councilmember Mike Allen will also announce a new online registration tool that will help police return lost or stolen bicycles to their owners. Here's where you can find all local Bike to Month info: http://spokanebikes.org/

Also, SRTC will be sponsoring an Energizer Station in Liberty Lake on Wednesday from 7-9 a.m. Look for us somewhere near the Centennial Trail (we're still up in the air about our location) and ride your bike by to get coffee and other treats.
