EBike Popularity Going Up As Gas Prices Do Same

With gas prices high, a lot of people are interested in cheaper modes of transportation, but not everyone can make the commitment to riding a bicycle for long distances. A lot of people are making a commitment to sit on a bike and let it do the work though; battery powered bikes are apparently selling like crazy lately. The Spokesman-Review has the story. SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
