WA Going To 6-Year Driver's License

You'll soon be able to go another year without renewing your driver's license in Washington. The Washington Department of Licensing is starting to transition from a 5-year to a 6-year driver's license

During the five-year transition, some people will receive a 5-year license and some a 6-year.

The cost of the license remains $9 per year, so the cost will be $45 or $54, depending on the term.
