Freya Sidewalk Work Starts Today

Work on the City of Spokane's Community Development (CD) Sidewalks begins on Freya Street from 20th to 21st avenues today.  Freya Street is currently closed from Hartson Street to 29th Avenue through the end of August for work on the Combined Sewer Overflow tank at Underhill Park. The closure will now include work on Freya from 20th to 21st Avenue for new sidewalk installation, driveway, and wheel chair ramps.  The closure will go through Friday, August 29 at 5 p.m.

Completing the sidewalk work on Freya during the existing closure for CSO work will allow the sidewalk work to complete 7 working days ahead of schedule and without further disruption to Freya.
