5th District Candidates Debate Area Transportation Issues

Did you watch the debate last night between contenders for Washington State's 5th District Congressional seat? Incumbent Cathy McMorris Rodgers and her challenger, former local TV personality Daryl Romeyn, faced off on a variety of topics, including the North Spokane Corridor and other transportation issues. SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
