Good for you. The best part is getting on a jury otherwise mainly just a big time waster.
My first time I served here in Spokane in August, 90 degrees or more every day and no air conditioning in the courthouse then. You will never get to know the fun of being locked in a jury room with no windows and just a small exhaust fan for air circulation. When they opened the doors after we reached a verdict, it felt cold in the 90 degree hallway.
Thank goodness for AC is all I can say, because it's a hot one today! Got sent home for the day so I can actually get some work done but we'll see tomorrow.
I served on jury duty 5 times and was on 4 juries, never once was I picked on Monday for a jury.
If you talk to some county employees they will say the air conditioning is sometimes intermittent.
