Council To Vote On Golf Carts On Hillyard Streets

Golf carts could soon be seen, legally, on Hillyard streets. The carts are already legal in Liberty Lake and Medical Lake, but keep in mind those communities built paths for them in many areas. Spokane's City Council will vote on this tonight, what do you think?

I am for it, maybe it will bring a business to Hillyard, right now there is not a single Golf Cart Dealer in the City of Spokane. The polls we did of residents in this part of town were interested in a low energy way to get to businesses in Hillyard and even to the industrial area east of the NSC.

Really? Not one golf cart dealer in the City? Huh- guess I never thought about it. I've been hearing this idea since I've been at SRTC so glad to see it's at least finally coming to a vote as I know there are several people heavily invested in it.
