Thanksgiving Travel Numbers In- And They're Down From '09
Washington State Department Of Transportation’s traffic data is in for the long Thanksgiving weekend and it shows 33% fewer drivers traveled over Snoqualmie Pass and 45% fewer traveled over Stevens Pass compared to the same weekend in '09.
WSDOT tracks holiday travel in locations where travel increases significantly on long weekends.
Here are their numbers for this year.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
