These Officers Aren't Going To Catch You- They're Too Stiff To Chase

Okay, this is really kind of creepy. With two road deaths every single day, officials in Bangalore, India realize they need to do something to address the problem. But the steps they took are maybe what some other jurisdictions would have chosen.

They're putting more cops on the streets. But not real cops. Cardboard cutout cops. In theory, maybe not a bad idea, but if you look at the pictures of them, they look kind of hokey. They all have their arms crossed and look more like they're waiting for the bus or hanging around outside a conveninence store than like they're looking for crazy drivers to bust. Check it out.
