Delta Rolls Out Real-Time Pet Monitoring For When You Just Can't Leave Sparky At Home

Is this what it really looks like in the compartment where
animals fly?
You know those satisfaction surveys you get after taking a flight? Well, due to a lack of opposable thumbs, your dog can't fill those out. So how do you know everything is going smoothly for your pet when you fly in the cabin of a plane and they fly with baggage?

Delta Air Lines is offering what it says is the first pet-tracking device to reassure passengers separated from their furry companions during flights.

Customers will be able to monitor their pets in real time, with data on the surrounding temperature and whether the animal is right-side up or sitting askew. But it won't be cheap. Bloomberg.com has the details.
