Transportation Advisory Committee Meeting One Week Early This Month
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the November Transportation Advisory Committee's (TAC's) November meeting has been moved up one week to November 16. So that means the meeting agenda and packet is already available.
You can find the agenda here. The meeting starts at 3 p.m. As always, all SRTC committee meetings are open to the public so feel free to attend if you see something on the agenda that interests you.
About SRTC
SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs. It provides coordination in planning between the public, cities, small towns, the county, the state, transit providers, and tribes.
SRTC offers services including transportation monitoring, transportation modeling, census information analysis, travel demand forecasting, historical traffic count analysis, geographic information systems, and trip generation rates.
