Left Lane Camper Emphasis Patrol

Normally law enforcement officers are looking for speeders. But this week they will be looking for
people driving too slow. In the left lane. The most common complaint I hear about after potholes and the need for expanded transit service.

An emphasis patrol targeting "left lane campers" is underway today and tomorrow. According to MyNorthwest.com, State Troopers from all across Washington will be looking for people who impede the flow of traffic by driving slow in the left lane, which is traditionally the passing lane.

These drivers, going under the speed limit, cause congestion and safety issues and wrecks when people behind them get aggressive and tailgate.
