Senate Votes On Two Transportation Jobs Bills Today

Today the Senate will vote on two transportation jobs bills. But don't get too excited, because neither is expected to get the required 60 votes to pass.

SRTC is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Spokane County. Urbanized areas with populations exceeding 50,000 people are required to have an MPO. SRTC was formed to address the county's transportation planning needs.
