Results Are In From the 2015 Bike Swap

Some great news from this year's Spokane Bike Swap. Nearly 4,000 people attended the fourth
annual Swap in April, with 58 exhibitors and over 900 used bikes registered to sell in the bike corral. In the first year of the event, 169 bikes were sold in the corral. This year that number was 673- a nearly 400% increase. Yes, you read that right. 400%. In total, there were $161,831 in bike sales this year.

Proceeds from the Swap each year go to the Friends of the Centennial Trail to make improvements, expansions and repairs to the trail. This year $38,000 was raised for the Trail.

Preparations are already underway for next year's Bike Swap and, due to the demand demonstrated this year, the Swap will be expanding and taking up even more space at the Spokane County Fairgrounds in 2016.
