Will Seattlites Trade Four Wheels For One?

Is the solution to Seattle's traffic congestion problems a small electric wheel? That's what some people think, according to MyNorthwest.com.

The Solowheel is like a unicycle but with no seat and you don't have to pedal. The electric wheel is rechargable and costs about 1.2 cents to ride for an hour. Riders lean forward to go and lean back to stop.

It's not ideal for long distance commuters because it has a limited range and goes about ten miles an hour.  It is however, fun, apparently. The developer of Solowheel says it feels like surfing to work.

It costs less than $2000
