Get Your Thoughts to Us on the Transportation Improvement Program By Friday

A reminder that time is running out if you would like to let us know your thoughts on the draft 2014-2017 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP
is a document that describes the schedule for obligating federal funds to state and local projects over the next four years.

In other words, it's a list of the projects that will get funding in the near future. Why should you care? Because a project you may think is a priority may not be on there. Or there may be a project on the list that you think isn't the best use of tax dollars. So it's your call. Look through it here, then give us your thoughts. Instructions are also at the link on how to submit comments.

Hurry though, the deadline to comment is 4 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 4.
