Developer Asks to Relocate Ben Burr Road

A plan to close a segment of Ben Burr Road just south of 57th Avenue has been scrapped. Instead, county commissioners are being asked to relocate the road 150 feet to the east to accomodate a commercial development.

The road closure has been controversial with residents of the area since it was proposed over six years ago but the developer suggesting this new plan says it will improve traffic safety. Here are the details from the Spokesman-Review.
