Temporary repairs were completed last week adn the Skagit Bridge opened to traffic, after it collapsed just about a month ago, but a Spokane's company has won the contract to make the permanent repairs to the bridge.
Max J. Kuney Construction was one of four contractors that bid on the job and was awarded the $6.87 million contract.
The project is a tricky one though, as it has a tight timeline. The Inlander has a look at the project and how it will be completed with as little disruption to traffic as possible.
